I am lucky to have a charge point 8 miles away owned by the town of West Boylston, Ma which charges .15/kwh.

Makes electricity on par with gas for cost per mile

All American Ford of Hackensack. In Hackensack, NJ.
I have found a lot of free chargepoints at Hyundai dealers in NJ. Same 60kW, and I just spend a couple of minutes chatting up and playing with Ioniqs.

The MB dealers in the area used to offer free chargepoints as well, but they quickly realized it attracted the wrong clientele.

Apparently people like me who go to a random dealer for free charging isn’t the target demographic for Mercedes…

If you’re getting 1 mile per kilowatt, you might want to check your driving or the truck. If the costs were truly the same, what would be the point in going EV?

Our local high school was replaced with a brand new facility, which includes 16 public L2 charging stations @ 7.2KW, the energy cost is 15 c/KWH plus a 25 cent session fee, pretty good deal considering the 32c home costs and 36c at EA

I might take advantage of this by doing a weekend charging session to top up while using the grounds / facilities for my walking program.

I headed out to the HS this evening on my regular coffee run, which is only a half mile from my favorite Dunks.

The unit I plugged into was a ChargePoint 6.6 KW shared, but no one was on the A plug while I was there to do a 40 minute test charge, activated with my newly created CP app and this is what I got and it was free.
