Once again I have to come to you gurus as nothing shows on truck screen or charger. I connected the truck to the charger as I have done hundreds of times with no issues. I check the phone app about 30 mins later and it shows charging error. I go and look and the the truck shows having been charged to the requested percent (95%).

I look at the charger and it the status light is not blue, it is white. I shut the breaker off and back on and white status remains. I trip the breaker again and leave it off for several hours when tripped back on same white status light. I then drive the truck and return several hours later at 30%, connect the truck, turn on the juice and white light and no charging.

Here is a picture of the charger. I know one of you gurus knows what is going on. The charger is only a little over a year old. and it is a 100 amp circuit.

I've only seen the "White" light when unplugging in the morning (when I'm charging overnight)

I've speculated that the FCSP is doing a quick reboot or reset of some sort when that is happening, it only lasts for 15 to 30 seconds, then returns to the standby blue color.

Why you're FCSP is stuck on white is not a documented condition in the FCSP installation guide.

You may need to reach out to Ford Customer service to start the ball rolling on a possible warranty replacement, they may refer you to Siemens for a quick diagnostic check to confirm a possible failure.

I concur with @TaxmanHog the only time it turns white for me is when I have finished charging and unplugged it from the truck. I always figured it was sending/saving data so unavailable temporarily.

Are you saying it is set to charge to 95% and it has reached its goal when this happens?

No, I had set it to 95% as a one time setting. I was going on a long trip.

So it did not charge at all??
Did you unplug the FCSP prior to resetting the breaker?

Yes it did, apparently, the issue surfaced at the end of the completion of the charge.
Sorry, I was editing my last post when you replied.
Did you unplug the FCSP from the truck when you did the breaker reset?

Yes I did. I also tried resetting with it plugged into truck. No difference. Also truck does not indicate being connected.

Maybe try driving the truck and make sure everything is OK and/or try the 12V battery disconnection and reconnection. That is all I can think of at this point in time.

I have a second charger just as at home at the office. This morning, I plugged in at the office and charging perfectly. Home charger still has white light.

So definitely not an issue with the truck. It’s gotta be either the wiring, fuse box, or the charger itself. I agree with @TaxmanHog ur best bet is to reach out to FoMoCo customer support & see what warranty options there are. If u have a multi meter, maybe check the wiring?

Showing my ignorance but how does one go about contacting FoMoCo?

For the benefit of the group I thought I would post the end (I hope). I called the Ford Support Group as suggested. They informed me that I needed to be at the charger. When I got to the charger that evening, all was good. Light was blue as normal. This was after two days of white light.

Should I continue with Ford for a possible diagnostic check or just forget it and go on with my life?
