Cheap behind seat access

I think there are probably a lot of ways to get this done.

I have seen the very elegant products made for the task, but I’m cheap.

I drilled a small hole in the release rod and passed a small bit of stainless tie wire through with a loop up to the headrest.

Took all of 5 minutes.

Only disappointment is with the Lariat ER, there isn’t a ton of storage back there with the speaker etc.

I figure it’ll be good for things I (hopefully) don’t need often like jumper cables, tow strap.

I find that under the seat, behind the storage box, is enough access in my ER.

Nice! I love the simplicity of it! I bought the mod part, but as soon as I installed it and realized what it did I immediately figured I should I 3d printed something instead. Your solution is even easier!
