Sure, but there has to be a better way than having people buy more cables for something already over $1,000. I have no issue making my own harness, but that doesn't help produce a good end product for everyone.
feel free to go tell comma they don’t know how to run their business and see how that works out for you. Seems they are banking on people dealing with workarounds or dealing with the startup errors at this point. I'm really intrigued by the system, but I already have too many things to screw with in my non existent free time.feel free to go tell comma they don’t know how to run their business and see how that works out for you. I opted for the rush delivery, so we should be getting them around the same time.A forum member from Canada is drop shipping me a full unit from comma so I can modify it and send it on to him. I'll try the ferrite core with my long usb-c cable once i get it. Should be any day now.
Any news on yours yet? I got the ferrite and the 90's, tracking shows the Comma unit will be here tomorrow around noon.A forum member from Canada is drop shipping me a full unit from comma so I can modify it and send it on to him. I reset it a couple times and couldn't get past it. I was able to get sunny pilot installed for now and will mess with it once I have it working to some degree. It's a back end bug. It happens on stock openpilot too. The only path forward I've found is to tap the screen a bunch during reboot and trigger a factory reset, then start over. Very frustrating outcome.
Also, Ferrite does Jack on the comma power cable. Installed one on each end and a loop in the middle.I reset it a couple times and couldn't get past it. I was able to get sunny pilot installed for now and will mess with it once I have it working to some degree.
You could try jumping straight to staging-2.1, it has a higher agnos version:I reset it a couple times and couldn't get past it. I was able to get sunny pilot installed for now and will mess with it once I have it working to some degree.
I'll see if I can get it installed after I figure out how to get this extremely short power cable ran to the obd port. You could try jumping straight to staging-2.1, it has a higher agnos version:
