dealers are getting stock that can be sold immediately. I have only seen Lariat SR. Most of the dealers near me are getting them.

I now see the samples of VIN's being discussed in another thread, love solid evidence which refutes speculation, in my defense we have seen abandoned orders being hocked for huge ADM, but that's a horse of a different color.

Oh absolutely, I didn’t quite believe it myself till I talked to multiple dealers personally and after seeing the language on the Ford FAQ.

I had called 6 Ford dealers on day 1 of launch (5/19) asking questions like ADM and allocations.

Found a dealer further away that had a high volume, high past allocations, and no ADM.

That cost me a whole day calling around but chose my dealer 2 counties away for a day 2 reservation (5/20).

Had I chosen one of 5 other closer dealers, I would have paid ADM and may not have received an invite because they only received between 2-9 Lightning allocations.

My dealer received 50 Lightning allocations out of 800+ reservations.

Lightning delivered last month.

If it’s dealer stock then they should sell for what the market will pay, it’s when they pull last minute shenanigans like nitrogen filled tires, gps, no value add ons just to get the customer to orphan their order after waiting for several months. That’s what upsets me and makes me reconsider the manufacturers for working with these types of dealers.

Got a Rivian coming in soon so got a trade in quote as I decide what to do. Dealer offered me $95k for my Lariat with 3k miles. Honestly seems pretty fair to me. Their franchise has a couple used ones at other location listed closer to $115k, but sure they would take the first serious offer over $100k.

its the dealers stock vehicle. they can charge whatever they want for it. no issue there imo.
