The point of sale credit transfer & verification of eligible BEV's began January 1st 2024, your transaction was not affected by the newer business process.We didn't receive anything on our '22 Lariat ER that I bought in the Summer of '23 but the dealer did call me in December of '23 to verify info and tell me they were submitting the form to the IRS. Haven't been audited so far but I haven't ruled out OD and Muskrat convincing the IRS to audit everyone but Tesla buyers

I Strongly encourage potential buyers ONLY deal with dealers who can offer an immediate POS credit upon delivery of the vehicle. That would be a clear sign they are enrolled and compliant with the new process.
