Departure time enabled by itself...I am missing something?

Hello, I was wondering if any had this issue - I turn off my departure time in Ford Pass app. And then I will check the app vehicle page later and I see that I have message "Next departure is set for .." so I check the schedule and sure enough, it is enabled again. Anybody have this issue? Another place to deactivate this? It has been annoying problem and believe the reason why start climate fails.

Ford Pass has been slow and unreliable with editing and or deleting schemes.

Are you on the current 5.15.0 release of Ford Pass?

In the meantime delete the configurations via SYNC, Charging app, Departure Times, clear all.

In theory when everything is communicating correctly it should disappear on Fordpass and Sync, but if there is a failure to communicate, and the truck is still showing a departure program that you don't want to execute:

• Disable departure events by turning the master switch off.
• Alternatively, while the switch is on, edit & delete {clear} all schemes.

I will give it a shot. Maybe this is also why I had my charging limit set at 70% (on the FordPass) but it charge over 90%.
Is there way to use do a "factory reset"? Is this advisable?

12v negative battery post disconnect / reconnect might fix the communication issues.
Search the forum for many discussion about the process.

Well thought I give an update incase anyone runs across some of the issues I have discussed. I did purchased a OBD 2 and downloaded Carscanner. This has been neat tracking stuff and I saw my 12 v battery was below 50% a lot. So I started doing L2 charging at lower amps (usually 48amps) so the 12v could charge longer. Seem to work, but strange things still were happening and few times the 12v battery was not charging. Today, my truck was dead, completely. So my thoughts was I hoping it just the 12v. I was going to bring it somewhere to get it checked and buy a trickle charger..... Well heck the negative on the battery was loose. I never touched it before. Visual it looked fine but it wriggled and as soon as tightened it up the truck was back. Damn me for not validating the connections. So my PSA is give them an giggle, looking is not enough. Heck glad this happened as it made me learn how many things work on this truck. Seem to be my style of learn.

Thanks for closing out this thread, funny that this is still an issue with quality control on the assembly line, 22's , 23's and now 24's still afflicted with poorly tightened 12v battery connections!!

@Ford Motor Company might want to check Q on this production step!

Just to make people aware that it's out there now. I'm assuming there's some bug fixes, so if someone is having FP issues (as you are seeing) they could try to force the update and see if it helps with the problem.

It will likely get pushed to all Android users at some point, as has been the usual for past updates.
