Does it permenantly disable the power-down timer?If you have pro-power. You can just turn on the bed outlet and that will automatically disable the power-down timer. I think it's fewer clicks.

I am able to leave the truck and heater running and lock the doors with the remote.This would work fine if you can lock the doors on the way out. My Kia Niro won’t let me lock it if it’s on unless I use the manual key. And then it makes me use the key again to unlock it before my phone or the fob will work on it.
I am in Denver, North Carolina. Halfway between Hickory and Charlotte.Where in NC are you? You can manually turn it off using the toggle under Vehicle-Vehicle Power Down Timer. You should need to do that each time you start the truck or follow the steps below to default it to off.
