You have more time than you might realize. A 2-day license does not mean 48 hours. It is effectively three days. You get access the day you buy it plus two full calendar days following the day you buy it. So, if your license is set to expire today, you should have access until midnight.

I am buying only from Helm, the authorized distributor of the licenses. I wasn’t aware that there were resellers for the 2-day licenses.

It’s just post-install validation. When you put the USB back into your computer, FDRS reads the files one-by-one on the flash drive and then simultaneously reads the corresponding files on the module via the CAN Bus. If the files match, it issues a “pass” and moves on to the next file. If all files match, FDRS transmits information to the server that the update was successful.

It does the verification and issues a pass per even without the USB installed after an update. So not sure if there is anything else it checks but it doesn't seem like it's a required step. I don't know.....

i've done all the USB updates without re-inserting the USB. The only one that it actually asked me to reinsert the USB drive into the computer was the upgrade to 1.7.1 OTA equivalent. However, it took 30 days for the USB drive to kick off the update in the truck, and then when it uploaded the data to the mothership, FDRS saw it and I haven't had to reinsert the USB to the laptop again.

I'm using it with my Motorcraft account for a few months, works just fine. However, +7 is the country code for RU, so I'm not sure if they are still operational (aka, able to accept payment from us) anymore. Worth a try, they responded on WhatsApp quite quickly.

Well done! That Hands Free graphic on the dash is like the holy grail on the FDRS challenge!

For those of us without BC, the equivalent is pushing the camera button at 55mph and seeing the gas cans in the bed of the truck still upright and where you put them. All without Forscan.

bluecruise is cool I guess, but that is truly the best feature. we're about to go on a cross country trip pulling the airstream, and being able to see the hitch and the trailer is so nice.

There is not way this is legitimate. He has the word "Crack" in the description. I would stay clear.

it says a crack is not required... there are lots of cracks to make the software work, and that poster is specifically calling out they are not doing that.
