Just comparing notes... has anyone else noticed random erratic charge rates? It should have charged to 90% last night easily. But it stalled out at about 77%. Not that I need it today ( sunday) but it's strange that this happens randomly.

The mobile charger seems to charge fine at first then starts surging from 4000 to 6000 watts for hours. Then at the last hour it goes back to 7200 watts. Take a look at the graph.

The mobile charger will throttle charge current if it detects excessive heat, either internally or in its plug. Some have been known to do this even if there is no true overheating. It may have been displaying the amber light during times of throttling.

Looks like something I was seeing while charging with my Emporia EVSE.

Emporia put the EVSE into a diagnostic mode and they said the truck was changing the charge rate.

I haven't seen this happen again since I've started using the FCSP with my truck, and haven't had a problem with the Emporia since I started using it with my wife's Mach-E.
