@Ford Motor Company Will the global charge limit be ignored if a location is saved? For instance, I like to charge past 70% when at work but I limit it to 70% when at home.

Edit: Also, would be nice if the write up for Lightning owners reference a lightning instead of a MachE. :)

One more thing, why no Amps reported for DCFC?
The Global Target Charge setting applies to all locations. With this software, saved locations do not have unique target charge settings, but still have unique Preferred Charge Time settings.

As for AC vs. DC, since Amps are not a commonly communicated value for DC charging (the vast majority of DC chargers don't advertise or display Amps) sticking to kW was done to avoid creating extra confusion.

Similar to the other same-day announcement from @Ford Motor Company, these features are going across all model years of the Lightning correct?

My initial thought that there isn't any hardware limitations so it would be efforts of firmware and software. Can you guys please clarify in your communications and going forward?

Edit: All of the data and telemetry (that is sent to FordPass) are already in the software, so there should be an OTA across all model years. This looks more to be a UI clean-up with better integration of vehicle lock state with the charge port. I would be shocked if this cannot be applied to the whole fleet.

Hmm...would be interested in knowing if it will come to older models.

But also I like having different charge values for different locations, home charge to 60% because that will cover expected trips...then work charge to 90% because...free charging at work
