This is my 2 year anniversary with my 22 lightning with extended range. Lately it has been getting charging errors with the plug in wall charger at either 240v or 120v. At home in the heated garage it will occasionally get a charging fault usually when the battery is fairly low (below 50%)
now when I’ve been bringing it to my cabin in northern wisconsin it frequently gets an error when it is plugged into 120v. I know the charging rate is very slow at 120v. but it is still helpful for me to keep it plugged in especially when it’s 15 below like today.
It does charge fine at the fast chargers on trips.
Has anyone else been having this issue? The Dealer here isn’t very knowledgeable about these vehicles.
As an aside my work vans frequently get a fault on our pro charging station when the temp is below freezing.
Luckily my lightning pro that I use for work everyday has no issues. .
