F-150 Lightning acceleration sound - like it or not?

Is there any sort of coding tool for Fords like Bimmercode for BMWs? I wonder if the propulsion sounds are just disabled in the non-Platinum models. Really odd to not include this feature on the other trims. The Mach-e cars all have it.

My Palisade was quieter than my Lightning. The fan noise can be quite loud externally. So no, it’s not selfish. Illegal, perhaps but so is doing 85mph in a 75mph. Plus, the 20 sensors and alerts all will still work. Judging by the knuckle heads with their faces in their phones and AirPods playing tunes…it’s the sensors that will save them, not the little artificial buzzing noise from our trucks.

You can realize that the guy with his face in his phone on the highway isn't the same guy, gal, of child in a parking lot, right?

If only there was something that only alerted others when the likely hood of both moving vehicles and pedestrians being in close proximity is high.

We rented one of these rare beasts in Phoenix. Complete with the Borla enhanced sound (exhaust). Was it ever a hoot to drive. From a nonchalant quiet existence to “big block ready to rumble“. The speed shifting mimics paddle shifting with amazing timing. Dual exterior speakers. Hilarious good fun. You’d get stares on a so equipped Lighting. I suspected they’ve tested such a system, just waiting for the proper EV truck density.

uh, yes…I realize that pedestrian isn’t walking on the freeway.
No one is going to listen to the hum going forward. It’s pretty subtle. Truly, the fans are louder. Certainly not a child. Defensive driving is the only thing that will save those not paying attention. It’s a nanny state rule and completely ridiculous.
