So I am finally getting around to having my FCSP installed. Because my garage is too small for the Lighting to fit, I have to have it mounted outside. Most likely it will need to be mounted on a post because of other stuff that is mounted on the side of the house. Besides a wooden post does anyone have any ideas of stands they have bought for their own installation? I tried searching previous threads but could not find anything. Thanks for all the help!

These pix might give You ideas. My FCSP is outside on the driveway, on a North-facing wall.

The awning is a 24-inch galvanized steel basement window well from Lowe's, painted to blend with the bricks of the wall. It's secured with standard L shaped brackets. It is wide and deep enough to shelter the FCSP from rain and the recent snow here.

I mounted the FCSP high enough to coil the long charging cable with only two loops... about shoulder-high.

I added lettering to warn users about my Time-of-Use EV charging circuit.

Thanks, that looks great. I am really looking for a stand because the electric meter and the transfer panels for my generator are mounted on the wall right where I would like to put it (of course).

Love those ideas, especially the gas pump. ⛽

My Focus Electric fits in the garage, but there are times it needed to be charged outside, so we mounted the FCSP/EVSE just inside the garage door so it's 18' cord reaches the port when it's in the garage as well as reach when parked outside. The rubber seal at the bottom of the garage door seals reasonably around the cord without squishing it.

Nobody can use it when we're not around. If your unit has a tap card or other feature to restrict who can use it, this wouldn't be a benefit.

With the Lightning and another FCSP/EVSE, we did the same on the other side of the garage as the Lightning won't fit in the garage. It's 24' cord allows it to easily reach a vehicle on either side of the driveway. Here's the Lightning's unit on the left side of the garage:
