I use to buy the cheap light bars also, and wound up with the same missing or burned out leds and such. Then I opened my wallet for one with a lifetime warranty. 10 years and counting on my old truck and not one single led has burned out. (knock on wood)I’ll see you all in 2-3years with your goofy tailgate lights with leds missing burned out . I see trucks all the time with burned out bulbs on them ,why would anyone spend money for something that’s just going to break and is installed in a spot that’s subject to abuse and use as a truck . Less is more
I hear you, I have the Lariat and it is one of the features that I really love for some stupid reason!-LOLI'm ok without it...not sure why I care what other people see behind me
Light bar looks good, but I really like your license plateI installed the excalibur light bar like 2 weeks ago. So the wiring is different between the ICE F-150 taillights and the Lightning tailights. When I turned left, both lights in the lightbar would blink, and when I turned right, no lights would light up. So I contacted putco, and they were awesome enough to build me a harness for the Lightning. I just installed that today and it works perfectly now.
I was able to get it for $720 shipped w/ no tax from an aftermarket shop based in the midwest.
The pics and video make the light hues look pretty different, but in real life, they are much closer in hue. I am really happy with how it turned out. It really looks OEM. Only someone on this forum would know its not OEM.
