Finally got 22-PU1009-MIL-DTE to install. Here’s how.

Like others, my truck has had the DTE update downloaded for well over a week but it‘s failed on every scheduled update and every manual attempt to update. I tried charging the 12v battery, and that did not help. Another manual update attempt earlier today (after the overnight scheduled update failure) also failed.

I tried disconnecting the 12v battery, reconnecting after 5 mins, and immediately requesting a manual update attempt - which worked.

i obviously can’t confirm that the battery disconnect did the trick, but it’s almost certainly what did. Every prior attempt up to including this morning failed, the one right after the disconnect and reconnect worked.

May be worth a try for others with the update downloaded but failing to install.

This may be a good tip for when there is a desirable update that seems stuck. But I wouldn't spend a lot of time trying to get the DTE update - it's not worth it .

I'm glad it worked for you, no joy here though, after I tried the manual update.

Right now, I'm on the charger, the HVB reached my preset 80% SOC 1 minute before the auto update was set to run at 6:05 pm ET, the failure report came in at 6:12......

I give up.
