Yeah, same here: XLT ER in March, free mobile charger, free super charger pro and free spray in bed liner, $7,500 rebate, $7,500 fed gov, and $7,300 (10% off sticker) dealer discount with 3.9% interest.

Similar deal to ours, XLT ER in April, $73.5k MSRP, $7500 Ford cash, $7500 Federal rebate, $6500 dealer cash, $1500 Tesla 'conquest' cash, $52k OTD (and we're transferring plates from the Tesla so will get about $1k reg fees back too).

I got the 1.9% for 36 months with $7500 rebate on an XLT ER in April. I spoke to a lot of local dealers in Washington and they weren’t willing to negotiate more than about $2k off, so I bought in Ohio with a $10k dealer discount and had it shipped. There are still so many 2023 MY sitting on lots. With dealers not willing to take a loss and Ford removing the rebate I expect they’ll be sitting for a long time.

Memorial day is coming up, that is a traditional time for big discounts.

I'm seeing a lot more Lightnings around in the last couple of weeks, two people have come up to me because they are on the way to the dealer to buy one. Ford will sell them at the right price. I just saw two in a row on the way home - it is nice to see EVs other than Tesla and Rivian around here. (If you aren't from WA or CA you probably wouldn't believe the number of Teslas on the roads, someone needs to start selling them mod kits so they can tell them apart!)

You need to do the math, the 1.9% rate for 72 and 0% for 60 can negate the cash rebate.

I don’t qualify for the tax credit, but other people did with the same deal, so exactly the discounts you laid out. There were two dealers I’m aware of that offered the $10k discount at the end of March, one in Colorado and one in Ohio. They went through their stock super fast and I almost missed out, but I got the last XLT ER (w/ max tow and tow tech) from the Ohio dealer. It was $1800 to ship to Washington, so I still came out way ahead vs buying local. So far I’m really loving the truck, so I’m happy I decided to jump on it.

Weird, I had to go to Washington (Kendall, Marysville) to get my wife's XLT ER deal ($23k off) since my local (Oregon) dealers wouldn't blink... seems like it's a matter of catching the right salesperson with the right GM on the right day of the month with the discounts...

That’s awesome that you were able to get that deal there. I think you are right about the timing and people. I did talk with them, including multiple calls with the sales manager. I showed him the deal I was getting and he said they couldn’t even come close and he didn’t know how the other dealer was able to take such a loss on it. I definitely would have bought local if I could have.

There is no advance notice of incentives, and this isn't the first time an incentive has been canceled early.

I'd imagine the cash rebates on 2023s are done as inventory is low and they blew out of the one model/trim that didn't fit in anymore (XLT ER) due to the Flash. 2024s are just hitting the lots so I wouldn't be expecting any big discount in the near future. I also think due to the scaling back of production, less Lightnings on lot will probably mean that prices will stay closer to MSRP.
