I placed an order at regular price last week.

Heard about the price decrease and went by the dealership today to add 312A to my order (still saving $5K)

They've already changed my order to priority 1...

I'll live with that, but at least need some 312A wheels!

The schedule has reached a point the factory is reviewing orders today and Tuesday to select 7/31 production

I hope you see a Window Sticker on 7/19 or 7/20 for build week 7/31, it's possible !!!

I just checked online. I ordered March 30 and the site still says build date week of August 14. Interesting.

I was able to get a Lariat exactly like the one I had on order from a different dealer stock a few weeks ago. I was going to keep my order in place and sell the second when it came in. But with production up and prices down, I don't know that that is a good risk to take. Thoughts?

Nevermind. I canceled the order. All is well. Dealer promised refund. We'll see about that.

Does this apply to only new orders made after the price cut? If I placed my order in April of this year and it is scheduled for mid August Build with a VIN assigned, would I need to to cancel my order to get this new price? With the new price I could get below $80 thou, which would qualify for tax credits, which would be significant.

I wouldn’t take that chance myself, with marketing moving in the direction it is.

But that’s just me. You do you.

Well, it's a simple calculus: if those "scheduled for production" orders do not see the lower price when it is delivered, then you walk away and order another one.

I have an XLT SR which has a build week of 8/21/23. I contacted my dealer yesterday after the price change came out and they got back to me right away to tell me that since my truck has not yet been built it will have the lower pricing. they even sent a follow up text this morning to look out for an email from Ford to confirm the lower pricing.
