I noticed today that my Ford Pass app had 2 Customer Satisfaction Program ALerts listed:

Are these to be treated as "RECALLS" and work must be done? Or an early warning of pending problems? I have had (knock on wood) no issues as of yet at 8K miles. Thanks...

Recall - safety related, mandated by federal law.

CSP - Customer Satisfaction Program - free, to satisfy customers.

TSB - Technical Service Bulletin - how they should fix something IF a customer complains about it. Free if under warranty. Otherwise, not free.

IMO, the first one listed is the most critical and should have been a recall. If you have a bad module, it may not be detected properly by the old BECM software and leave you stranded.
