Ford Pass/FCSP question

Does anyone know if the software amperage limit actually limits the FCSP current? Do I need to restart the FCSP after making the amperage change, perhaps? Any other thoughts?

The Fordpass control is still temperamental, my last experiment with changing the amperage limit was sometimes working and other times not. I'm not certain where the weakness is, FCSP or Fordpass! Shut down & restart doesn't always solve the problem immediately either, but worth a try.
