Ford website still showing Lightning "starting at $39,974" (clearly this is incorrect)

It's correct for 2022 Lightning, which is what they show. The fact that it's no longer available is what you are bemoaning I guess?

Yeah, I really wish Ford's builder would stop defaulting to the 2022 MY. The price is a dead giveaway that I'm using the wrong builder when I go to price out a build. I usually search for 2023 Lightning builder to get to the right one.

Technically the only trucks soon to be available to people without reservations would be the MY22 mannequins after their no-sale period comes to an end. This is the base price of the trucks which will be at dealerships for purchase, so I think it's fair this is the default on the website for now.

Cookies driven content to return you to models you have viewed before and tinkered with configurations., it happened to me as well.

I cleared my cache and purged all ford.com related cookies.

Now I get a initial landing page promoting the new 2023 Super duty then overviews of all major model lines.

Drilling deeper in, there are a couple hold over page images with 2022 graphics, but the builder eventually reached the main configurator for 2023
