FordPass new terms

Just tried to open my Ford pass and I can't unless I Accept the new terms. If I don't accept, I can't open my Ford pass.
Has anyone read all the pages and see what rights we are giving up by signing off on this.

Did you read all the terms / conditions and accept them ?
I just called Ford Pass cs and the rep can’t advise anything. Best he told me is the app works better on Apple I phones and if you speak Vietnamese. Neither applies to me. Pretty sure 23 sections talks about more than apples and foreign languages.
Maybe you can interpret what we’re agreeing on the new terms.
Did we just agree that we might not ever get BC 1.4 ?
Don’t know, not a lawyer who can read between the lines.
In the mean time I can’t do anything remote.

I have read through their privacy parts. They are basically saying we own your data and we can share it with anyone. They keep the language vague enough so they have freedom to do anything. In the absence of a Government regulatory body to protect you with Federal employees who give a damn and are not afraid of anyone, you got nothing. Welcome to the jungle.

I didn't accept but I know I eventually will. What is interesting is that, they broke something and then when I downloaded the fix, I have to sign this to get the fix.

If it makes you feel any better, I have a feeling they collect your data and share it anyway and this is just so you feel like you have agreed to it and you don't sue when you get screwed.

Is this a serious question? No, nobody has read 53 pages of terms of service for an app on your phone.

Not just on my phone but everyones phones. It just started yesterday. Have you attempted to open your ford pass app since yesterday? Which I assume everyone has. It's the only convenient way to access most features of your lightning. And it's 23 different sections. Doesn't show what's new and what's old. Not sure unless you printed the terms when you first agreed that you can compare what Ford is demanding upon its users.

Who read their sales or lease contracts when you purchased your lightning? Believe me this 23 pages is more confusing as to what rights we have and what Ford has over us.
