Had an early morning departure in the dark this week, and as I approached the truck with the lights on, I noticed that the right side of the front lightbar was pulsing on and off, and that the lightbar portion above the headlight was completely off. At first, I thought, "Whoa, maybe this is a cool way of telling me that my truck is going through an OTA update!" Sadly, I was wrong.

It continues to behave this way. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Truck is only 2.5 months old...

Photo attached showing the lightbar out (a video would show the portion above the grill pulsing on/off).

Don’t think I’ve seen this before, but hey that’s what they made warranties for.

Yes, this has happened to others and has been happening to mine for about 6mo. My dealer just replaced a HV module in my battery and diagnosed it while in service and said they want to replace the LDCM corresponding to whichever side was blinking on and off. They wanted me to pay for the part b/c I have over 50kmi on my truck so I told them no. The BEV customer service team called me while my truck was in service waiting on its battery module, and I told them I was pissed at this light issue because I consider it an EV specific part. To me it is b/c EV's are the only ones with light bars. They were more than sympathetic and gave me a complementary 40kmi ESP. The only catch is that it takes 2+ weeks to be applied to my truck (VIN). So I got the truck back and I'm currently waiting to take it back to get this fixed. Overall, I'm super happy with the way FMC has treated me and I don't blame the dealer for trying to charge me, they're just doing what the service/warranty computer tells them. My light bar still works perfect about 60% of the time. I hope the module fixes it otherwise they will have to start chasing wiring.

Thanks for your link and replies. I'll get it off to service and have it looked at...

F150 lighting on order
This is happening to my light bar now. Half is working will post a picture tonight. But not pleased. The rear light bar was replaced under recall because of "micro cracks" Wondering if same issue is going on here.
