Have you ever seen your motor or battery temperature gauges move?

I posted a pic here when it was crazy hot this summer, you can see the gauge is to the right.

When I went to El Paso around that time, the gauge was to the right while driving. I entered the EA stop I was heading to in Ford Nav and as I got close the temp reading started moving towards the middle and was pegged dead center by the time I arrived. I'm convinced it conditions the battery for DCFC.

During the time we were in the 20s in NJ, and it cold soaked... I found my battery temperature gauge below the line. Especially when I didn't pre-con for whatever reason (I only pre-con Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and the weekend).
