That's what those of us with the dealer retrofit are missing.

This is what my post was about. I've retrofitted the HSW in my Pro myself, full OEM but DIY. I do not have the option in FordPass, but my wheel does automatically come on with remote start when its cold out.

Ah that's the other difference, not only do I not have the option in Fordpass but my steering wheel remains cold as hell with a remote start too. I've made some changes in Forscan that should have fixed it but has not.

Sorry to add confusion. I was simply providing the link showing how it's done for @Brons2. I have not added HSW to my truck but plan to do so in the future. Following this thread as well...

Main reason would be the interrogator running. Once the as build is pulled up to fords server you probably will see it. Until then you wont. THis is the same thing for when I help people add BlueCruise. THe truck has Blue Cruise but shows pending activation or coming soon until the as build correctly reflects on fords server. Then it triggers Ford pass to show it.

There is a limit though. I added zone lighting and had all the appropriate as build changed and it was pulled up on FOrds end. Still wouldnt show in FOrd Pass.

Since your truck should though I bet it will once the as build is aligned on fords end.

The only time interrogator is run is before and OTA and then in FDRS after the OTA there is a second bite at the apple for the Interrogator.

So if you send me your vin Ill take a look at your as build

@Jesse-Infotainment @rugedraw I've made the changes in Forscan to enable remote start heated steering wheel. My As Built was updated 5 days ago and I can confirm all my changes went up to the mothership. Fordpass however, still doesn't show the option for the Heated Steering Wheel.

Do you guys have a suggestion on what the next step would be? The only thing I can think of is completely resetting the truck to add it to Fordpass again but reluctant to do that if it won't make a difference.

Do you guys have a suggestion on what the next step would be? The only thing I can think of is completely resetting the truck to add it to Fordpass again but reluctant to do that if it won't make a difference.

Mine doesn't either. I didn't even know it was supposed to be there, tbh. I would assume that have to be scripted into the app itself, but not sure.

I'm also still at a loss. FYI, I just checked on my FordPass and I got this when I did a Remote Start:

Clicking that Climate Settings box allowed me to turn off the heated seats and steering wheel and turn on cooled seats. I'm guessing you have all those icons except the steering wheel, right?

That is correct, I see all but the wheel.
