My pro acts exactly the same. Cycling the ac off/on again and the hum vanishes, climate control works perfectly. I can’t imagine that this is a sign of health. Did you ever investigate, or take it to the dealer?
Never investigated further, but definitely still happening. Hard to replicate but seems widespread, hard to replicate on demand so figure dealer would just give me the runaround. Wonder if @Ford Motor Company has acknowledge anything by this point. Might try texting the video of the video to one of the Lightning support lines and see what they have to say, they've been surprisingly receptive.

Dropped mine off this morning for this issue. Fingers crossed...
Please let us know what they say. Hasn't been warm enough for me to check if it's still happening, but will likely be mentioning similar concerns to the dealer when I bring in for some longstanding CSPs. It buzzes on initial start but stops only if I toggle AC off and back on.

@Ford Motor Company has this been addressed?

They said it the AC compressor needs to be replaced. They’re ordering it.

Appreciate it. Actually had it happen again this evening (got up to 73F). Will schedule an appointment. Did you give you any estimate on replacement hours, or they just book you for a days labor?

Interesting to see this discussion come up again, this afternoon, I had the Lightning parked in full sun in the driveway, ambient air was around 63° but the cabin was toasty warm from sun soaking, I didn't remote start to condition the cabin figured it would be about right jumping in and heading out with push of the start button.

I jumped in and started her, but then grabbed my trailer key to store something I had overlooked from the morning yard chores, put the snow blower away for the season for now so I have more work space in the motorcycle shop to continue work on the race bike engine refresh.

As I walked back to the drivers side of the truck, I noticed the HVAC systems "sound of summer" the whine of the AC compressor cooling the cabin to a comfort level, it was not an obnoxious sound but noisier than just the glycol circulator I've heard all winter while warming the cabin up.

I'm not alarmed about the sounds, but will pay close attention as the summer progresses

Thought the same thing !
Today was the first day it was warm enough for the AC to run here as well.
I did remote start mine and when I came outside a few minutes later it was making the same grinding noise as in my video earlier in the thread. I need to take mine in for the 20,000mile service and the TSB software thingey so I might as well have them look at this too.

It wasn’t even warm when mine starting acting up, it was actually a little chilly. The first time I noticed it the AC wasn’t enabled (light wasn’t on at the time). I only use the Auto setting which seems to engage the AC when needed. Could be my imagination but I feel like it comes on in the winter as well based on humidity etc.
