Tornadoes were our thing, and my HIS was out of commission - still. We'll ironically I get 6.14 downloaded and it finishes the upgrade just when a tornado hits the school my wife is a teacher at 2 football fields away, power goes off and I'm ticked that I don't have HIS. So later when power is back I jocky the truck within 3' of the FCSP and am able to successfully pair the truck (the app says it failed but the truck and the FCSP says they are good). power goes off it goes through all the motions but isn't kicking in.. I take a shot and hit the power button for accessory mode. Almost instant fail over and I've got whole house power!! So it isn't right but at least I appear to have workaround... and the wife is happy she has air-conditioning. 😀

We just lost power with Hurricane Milton. I’m running house off the Lightning 240/30amp fine using generator inlet. I expect the power to be out at least 2 days.

I can’t seen to find ability to monitor prower output on the App like I believe I was able to do 6 months or so ago. Is there a way to view usage on the app like it can be seen on the car screen?
I am not positive, but its worth checking out the desktop version of the app on the Ford website login as I find that its a bit more comprehensive.

Just to close the loop. It's been crazy after the storm.

Our remote cabin did fine. Power was out for about 4 days. We stayed at the cabin for 2 days without power using the truck to power the cabin. It worked great.

On the trip back home all gas stations were out of gas. The local power company, FPL, set up a mobile EV charging sites for EVs. We were able to top off our Lightning at the mobile EV charger.

Our house pool cage was destroyed by Milton. we also had some roof shingles come loose. . I called insurance company and they said I didn't have the addendum required to cover the pool cage so they denied the claim and I have to eat the $27,000 damage.

When cleaning up the pool cage destruction I hurt my back so I was bedridden for about a week. Just starting to feel better now. I always say, it could always be worse.

Here are some pictures.
