New best, rain cooled commute home helped.

Interestingly, FCSP reported 20.57kWh to get back what I drove. If I assume that includes losses and reduce that amount by 10% it puts me right around 3.0 so the truck is (as usual) a little optimistic.

Great info. Hopefully more folks will include info that will help us gauge the accuracy of the guestimator.

GOM 243 miles @ 90% (Standard Range)..... I've seen this hold to be pretty accurate while commuting with a +/- 3 miles or so. Mathing a little 100% charge should be 265 miles which sounds amazing to pickup an extra 25 miles more than quoted range

That is great. My 6000 mile average range is 250 miles. That includes winter driving. Yesterday, I did 114 mile round trip at 2.9 mi/KWh which included highway high speed travel. In a 25 mile country road part of it I got 3.6 mile/KWh with only 90% of power going to Route. It has been amazing in summer. It is good to know how much we can stretch it if we have a charging problem when traveling.

Not in the 3's but but 2.8 mi/kwh is better than most in the summer πŸ˜‚. I just precondition the cabin to medium and roll with the heated seats into work. (thankfully my23 XLT's had them) The other morning was in the 20's and had to kick the heat on my feet had it set to 68 on auto in the one position and it was just right and I got 2.5 mil/kwh just forgot to get a picture

I suggest amending the score keeping by multiplying trip mpkWh by miles. For instance a 100 mile trip at 2.0 mpkWh would be a score of 200. The trip has to be between charging sessions.

I see where you're going with this, but I don't think that will accurately rate efficient trips. For instance, I average 2.8mpk for my 55 mile round trip commute, which would net me a score of 154. Less than your example of a fairly achievable 100miles at 2.0mpk.

Actually, Longer trips in winter may have an advantage because once you heat the cabin to a comfortable temp, you spend less energy to keep it there per mile. Shorter trips have higher percentage of their energy go to climate per mile.

Valid point, I forgot to turn the AC off this morning (had it at auto 1 and 72 and didn't notice it was on) and I only got 2.5 going to work when I usually average closer 3.0 (or 9% instead of 7% of the battery).

It's just a fun competition for bragging rights. Who's willing to charge at the top of a mountain and drive ten hours at 30 mph so they can get a thumbs up from a stranger on the Internet?πŸ˜†

Ha, well I believe it was requested that trips start and stop at the same location to avoid the advantage of elevation. Next week I'll try to commute the whole week and see what I get.

This may be a dumb question, but can anyone explain what exactly is included in the "Accessories" category of the "Where did my energy go?" screen? I look at my data and it shows 10% over 5000 miles which seems high compared to other screen shots in this thread. My trip 2 is only over 18 miles and shows 8%.

I'm just wondering if there is anyway to use less on the accessories, so I can get better MPK.

Basically anything else that runs on electricity in the truck, except the AC and the cabin heater (which are 'climate') and any battery temp controls (which are 'exterior temp'). Accessories includes cabin fans, lights, dashboard, entertainment, hotspot, power outlets, screens, etc.

EDIT: Just checked the manual

Climate Use
This includes energy used by your vehicle’s high voltage climate control components such as the electric A/C compressor and the electric heater.

Driving and Route
This includes energy used to propel your vehicle based on your driving style and route. Your driving style includes how fast you drive and whether your acceleration and braking is mild or aggressive. Your route includes factors such as the amount of city or highway driving and road grades. Additional energy used due to heavy loads or trailer towing is also included here.

Accessories
This includes energy used for low voltage accessories such as climate system fans, heated seats and lighting. Pro Power Onboard usage is also included.

Exterior Temperature
This includes energy losses due to outside temperature and other conditions which reduce vehicle system efficiency.

Thanks, thats what I figured, not sure what I can do to lower that lol maybe not use vented seats. I wonder how much the audio system/andriod auto/sync screen uses of that percentage and if putting the screen to sleep helps improve the accessory usage?

I also wonder if it is possible to dive deeper into these numbers with forscan or something that can look at the usage on a deeper level?

I never measured how much consumption stereo has but I assume anything loud with more base will consume more power

Same here, I wonder though if it is possible to dive down into the numbers on a deeper level and see the usage. Example: I know my phone consumes more battery with wireless Android Auto vs when it is using a wired connection. I wonder if the truck has higher accessory usage with wireless Android Auto, how much of that 10% is stereo, vented seats, lighting, etc.?
