ICE F150 wheels

Anyone running this OEM F150 ICE setup? Seems like the weight rating isn’t the same as Lightning stock wheels, but I don’t see how that matters too much given that fact you can have 2,000 lbs in the bed of the truck. I have a SR, thinking it’s not too big of a deal. Hard to find anything about these wheels anywhere and their load rating

I use ICE F150 wheels for my winter tires. The wheels have a model number stamped on the inner surface. I contacted Ford customer service about suitability for Lightning. I received an email that verified that they are acceptable.
You should do the same.

Oh I don't know, center break out on a turn maybe. Rare but still a thing.

I’ve found Ford to be very responsive. Maybe it’s doing the homework and footwork to get to the right desk, which isn’t a sales desk at the dealership.

According to the published specs, only the "64H" wheels from the Heavy Duty Payload Package are rated for the ER trucks. You may have more options with an SR, some of the other wheels miss the mark by only a few dozen pounds.

Don't try to use taco wheels on a Ford or Ford wheels on a Tacoma. I have some aftermarket wheels on my lightning for the winter that have more than adequate load capacity. On my Volvo my winter wheels come from a lighter model. I have had no issues with that in 8 years of service.
