Install Homelink Garage Door Opener Somewhere on the Dash

Ive been using Tailwind IQ3, it controls Chamberlin doors as well as others. It works with alexa, google and Siri. I'm not sure if it works with Carplay but it works with my Android Auto

For iPhone you go to Settings - General -CarPlay-(select vehicle if needed) -Customize.

From there you can select which app to see on truck screen and in what order. At the bottom of screen are More apps that are CarPlay eligible. If it is not on that page, then it does not have a CarPlay version.

Right. If it is in HomeKit, you don’t need an app for CarPlay because the door is integrated into your HOME. The icon is active. It will say open, closed, opening, or closing, depending upon what happens.

For now I just purchased one of these and used Velcro to install it in a spot that isn't obvious. My garage door openers are My-Q enabled and I have Google home, but we live in a gated area and I need a remote to open that.
