iOS 18 Beta 6 fixes FordPass App issues

For those of us who took the leap and installed the iOS 18 beta, it broke all of the secondary pages in the FordPass app. Alot have been blaming Ford for not fixing the app, but it looks like it was an iOS issue after all. I just installed iOS 18 Beta 6 this morning and the secondary pages now load, and they load fast.

Just noticed mine was now working again after the most recent beta (I'm on the 18.1 beta 2 vs. the 18.0 beta 6). I'd been checking for FordPass updates hoping that would be what would fix the whole non-loading secondary app pages, but you're right that with this beta the app pages load really fast.

Do you folks have iPhone 15s? I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and whether I choose the public Beta or the developer Beta, it offers me iOS 18 Beta 4. With Beta updates turned off, Setting, General, Software Update says I'm on iOS 18.0, which figures since I don't have an iPhone 15. I have the same FordPass problem (not yet cured). So, here goes with iOS 18 Beta 4. Are iOS Betas sequential, i.e., to get to Beta 6, do I need Beta 4 and 5 first? (meaning they're not automatically cumulative?). First time fooling around with iOS Betas...

UPDATE: For me, updating to iOS Beta 4 (developer) fixes FordPass as described by the OP. Then Software Update says I’m up-to-date with iOS 18.0 and there are no further updates.

I would have to think 18 is fine, I have been on 18.1 developers release for past 3-4 weeks with zero issues. The way I see it on my devices is worst case scenario night have to wait for bug fix. Ford’s latest release plays very nice with 18.1 and the speed of app and response time is much snappier. It plays nice with my Apple ultra watch also.

I'm now on the official iOS 18.0 release, and FordPass works fine with all the menu items I normally use. Has been working fine since iOS Beta 4 for me.

Weird update concept by Apple here.

1) Public release the big new software update.

2) Let all users with eligible devices upgrade on the release date and not wonder when they will randomly granted access!

Apple is a tech company, and one that builds all their own hardware, or where they don't they tightly control the specs and quality of what they get. They intimately understand every bit our how it all ties together. They also have a LOT of server bandwidth to serve updates out there. You will note that even Apple doesn't let you just download and install the new software. You request the upgrade and you are in the queue to download it. Even their bandwidth is not unlimited to handle everyone at the moment they all want it. Ford has a lot of maturing to do when it comes to software and deliver. I could have helped with that but alas they didn't even bother to interview me

I understand the differences and challenges. But they are just excuses. I am the user of the product and am simply pointing out a good experience and a bad experience.
