Here is a question for all of you, if you unhook your modem - or telemetry module disconnect (see below link) prior to your subscription expiring, will BlueCruise continue to work on the truck? Obvious it has to be downloaded on the truck, because it works in the middle of nowhere even without cell service. Thus, if I unhook the ability for the truck to communicate with the outside world, would it keep Ford from disabling the software and turning off the feature? I would of course miss out on any other updates, but my truck is currently working the way I want it to and disabling this type of communication could keep "planned obsolescence" at bay, or protect me from a Russian hack to make all Lightnings turn into Stephen King's Christine. I am of course kidding. Sort of.

Here is a YouTube video of how to disabled this modem like thing behind the passenger side rear seat:

I haven't tried it yet, but might unplug it if I still get to keep using BlueCruise.

Back on topic, I looked at my sticker and no where does it say anything about it being a 3 year trial. I bought mine in March of 2023.

Your BlueCruise maps have an expiration date. If it can't download the map updates, Bluecruise won't work.
