My '21 Lariat came with 3 years of Bluecruise. It actually mirrored the factory 3/36 warranty. So when I bought it used in November, I had 25 months remaining. You can call it a trial, but truly just 3 years of use was included with purchaser. I think ICE only had a year perhaps. So at least I'm hopeful they will get the SW out for v 1.3 this year and I'll have a year or so left of use to see if it is that much better.
Just why would you need to grab your cell phone? Does Carplay or Android not work on these vehicles? My '21 Lariat came with 3 years of Bluecruise. It actually mirrored the factory 3/36 warranty. So when I bought it used in November, I had 25 months remaining.
I like it. It's handy when I'm opening a bottle of seltzer or unscrewing my water bottle to take a sip. I've also found it handy to use so I can clean my sunglass lenses. But to be honest, to just sit there doing nothing is weird. My hands still venture up and hold the steering wheel. Otherwise it's too tempting to grab my cell phone and then the system starts yelling at me (rightfully so).

I'm a flawed individual. Mainly I'll grab it for the reasons that TaxmanHog stated.Just why would you need to grab your cell phone? Does Carplay or Android not work on these vehicles?
You have to wait for the Light Bar Recall to be fixed?Just bought a Lariat ER 2 weeks ago but dealer can’t release it to me until the light bar recall is fixed. Dealer said it includes 3 years BluCruise from the date they activate it so will wait until I get to take it home.
They have a hold on delivery until fixed. All they have heard from Ford is Q4. NHTSA initiated the hold and Ford dealers cannot violate it without penalty. Here’s the letter from Ford:You have to wait for the Light Bar Recall to be fixed?
My dealer told me that don't expect them to call me about the Light Bar until Oct/Nov.
Have your dealer tell you, in writing maybe, how long they are going to hold your truck.
That sure would suck. They have a hold on delivery until fixed. All they have heard from Ford is Q4. NHTSA initiated the hold and Ford dealers cannot violate it without penalty. Here’s the letter from Ford:

Yep. Enjoyed sitting in it. As long as it’s by the end of year so I can claim my tax credit this year. Dealer hopes Ford prioritizes sold vehicles on lots since it prevents Ford from getting paid on the vehicle. He said past recall holds have gone faster once a name is attached to the vehicle. That sure would suck.
I guess you could drive by the dealer and look at your new Lariat, sitting there in the sun.
4th quarter you say? That could mean Thanksgiving!
The builder shows this as the default configuration Lariat-SROur SR Lariat has BC. Though it is not explicitly on the window sticker, we had thought it was part of the "Co-pilot 360" option that we added.
Maybe I should keep quiet about it.
Good looking truck! What color?Yep. Enjoyed sitting in it. As long as it’s by the end of year so I can claim my tax credit this year. Avalanche. My new favorite color. Hope it stays clean looking living on a gravel road.Good looking truck! What color?
Requires 511A equipment group.OK, all my reading is telling me that its $2100 for three years, $800 per year or $75/month.
BUT, look at this window sticker:
Really makes a big difference. That option package is what you get with the ER Lariat, I think.
This was a "new window sticker" that reflects the new pricing. Its for a truck that on the lot.
I don't see that same BlueCruise at all in the SR Lariat.
Here's a Platium. BlueCruise is standard there, so its mentioned in the "standard section".
Sure looks like with an ER Platinum or Lariat you get three years BlueCruise.
I couldn't find an XLT ER to look at the window sticker.
