NEVI was just getting started. All those blank spaces you see on the charging maps, NEVI would have filled those in. Now it looks like we are all dependent on Musk’s altruism.

The sheer number of people upset on this forum that Ford took so long to get them their promised Tesla adapter and those with stories about what they've done with the adapter they have received and how it made their travel easier/better is all you need to know about the status of charging in the US.

The hilarity is the supporters of NEVI made nothing but excuses for how slow the rollout was instead of actually putting the last administration’s feet to the fire to actually make progress. It was not hard to predict that if they lost the White House this would get dragged thru the mud and stopped or slowed even further
