The Fordpass api has so much more info that's not visible in the phone apps. Using the Home Assistant integration, it shows if the doors are locked or unlocked. If doors (and frunk/tailgate) are open/closed, and even if the (front) windows are open.
(On top of a ton of other data, like battery temp, LVB status, trip info (score, duration, energy, distance, efficiency), etc, etc.
I did just notice that they now have Washer Fluid on the Service tab. (Which I don't seem to get in HA, so there's still more data to be mined)

No problems getting your Ford Pass app locked by Ford? I remember several; users including @TaxmanHog getting booted.

Not since I configured it in November. Update frequency is set to 900 seconds (15 minutes). So that likely helps.
And I have a button to do a manual update when I want it. As long as I use that sparingly, I'm hoping I'll be ok.
Plus I use a different account for HA than on my phone. Just to split the API calls

Something like this from my Toyota would be great. Shows door status and window status. It’ll even remind me if I left a window open and tell me which window it is.

I used this thread: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/home-assistant-ford-f150-lightning-dashboard.17424/ (Thanks @Aminorjourney) and created this:

I haven't added the individual windows yet. Since the sensor is open/close, and the attribute data only shows 2 windows, and I am not sure what kind of attribute data there is when a window is open. So need to test that out when I have a window open.
But shows all 6 open/close statuses, charge info, and last trip info (which I need to figure out better. Trip Energy wasn't 4.33kWh, and definitely not 2.7mi/kWh. Maybe it was 4% (truck went from 40 to 36%) but it would be weird to list trip energy in percent. No?)

Why wouldn't Ford include a function that allows me to see if my doors are locked or unlocked on the Ford Pass app? It's pretty dumb that after a few seconds the checkmark goes away and there's no way to check it later. Am I missing something?
To do what you want would require a near continuous connection and communication with the vehicle. That would use bandwidth and be expensive and not really necessary. Do you want your truck to be locked? hit the lock button. one connection and it's done.
