I just got a 'Its Time to Call your Dealer to order' email. I was surprised as reserved on 6/15/2021 and was surprised I cant order online of I really was selected to order. Anyone see anything like this.

I got it too.. but when I go to online configurator I see only lariat and platinum are available to order

I figured it out. For some reason the email is going to my one email address though I made reservation under the other. Super weird.. But issue is cheapest LR truck is about $87K. Not sure I want to spring for that much

They can ask however much they want. They may even get the occasional taker - but that will be less and less likely as the number of trucks out there is 3, 4, 5x as many as it is today.

The truck I bought yesterday was on the dealer's website for $15k over. I did not pay a markup. Pick up the phone. They're out there already. There are many, many more examples of them selling for more than the 2022 MSRP but less than the 2023 MSRP. They're the same truck.

Anyway... Yes. You can buy one to flip it. Be careful. You might lose money.

I think my reservation is good through end of 2023 but I think they said they would cancel them at the end of 2023 if you didn't order

I pulled the trigger for a Lariat no addons at all.. I submitted my order and then I see dealer removed the heated steering wheel option and now order is accepted by dealer..

Heated streering wheel is pretty important for us. Does this mean the hardware is still there and they will hook it up when ford gets the chips. Or is it removed entirely and I can never add it to this vehicle ?

I will goto dealer in few hours but checking, just in case if anyone is aware

No, but for those hoping to get an XLT, they can hang on until 8/31/2022, by then all reservation not converted to order will be canceled and $100 refunded.

2024 will be a clean slate to operate under Model-E

I guess no lightning for me. I only needed a Pro for my business / situation. The XLT trim was the absolute max for me after the price increases hit, and is not available. Hoping GM or Stellantis can provide something in 2024.
