I was a little overdue in getting my 20,000 mi service done. Plus, they notified me about 2 "recalls" or required software updates (or whatever the current euphemism is)...
So I booked an appointment, had to wait a few weeks but I know they are pretty busy...
I get a call a week or two ago from a service advisor telling me that they can do everything needed if they come to ME, instead of me coming there...
Sure enough, young guy comes up, finishes all the required service in about an hour, while I'm able to get other things done around the house...
Not only that, but when I realized he would need access to the OBD port, I removed the dongle I use for ABRP. The tech even thoughtfully plugged it back in for me when he was done...
You hear so many stories of crappy service these days, I thought I would give these guys a shout out...
I'm sure this is just an innovative solution to the fact that they have outgrown their service footprint, but I still thought it was pretty nice & convenient...
