Lightning is being super protected (vs ICE F-150)

Looks like we continue to be pretty lucky - at least the Platinum guys for sure. Ford keeps whacking the upper end seats and features from the ICE trucks. Must delete them from orders to even consider getting a truck built. Yes, after listening to the livestream yesterday by Long McArthur Ford on production status / changes for May, the other models (Bronco, Maverick, ICE trucks) were being held up with certain options.

Luckily, for Lightning they seem to be streamlining and prioritizing builds with minimal delays / issues.
The only issue I heard is that the power running boards are being deleted.

Any other changes ?

This month's order guide revision added a multi-contour seat delete option for the lightning. I think that portends scheduling issues for builds that retain the seats.

It's still better than the ICE F150s but we're still going to have issues with some features.

Jim Farley started in the Lightning event last week that it will not be subject to post shortages like other vehicles. It sounds like Ford is willing to let the shortages continue for all vehicles except for the Lightning.

It makes sense that whatever amount of items they could/can get, they reserved for the lightning.
