I have an electric tug and apparently left it on when I traveled recently.

Upon return the tug was dead.
Nothing a Lighting & a long extension cord can’t fix.

I've got a friend who is into general aviation, just spent his winter non-riding season, rebuilding two ICE tug's while not able to ride & hunt for good food and pie.

He. like most Harley enthusiast look with skepticism regarding any battery electric vehicles and devices, I sent your photo to him this afternoon for his reaction.

What is the model / manufacturer of the electric tug?

My large internal airline employer is transitioning ground equipment to electric. I'm sure it's expensive but everything they do is expensive. The upside is lower fuel cost and less maintenance. The downside is you have to plug them in occasionally. I've never been delayed due to a dead battery. I have been delayed by a gas tug that wouldn't start.

What's the plane the tug is hooked to? Feathered prop tells me it's a turbo prop but I've been out of GA for a long time.

Best Tugs.
Everything they make is electric.
On the general aviation side of things, I consider them the best.

In Cali, most (ok, a lot of) ground equipment is electric.
For tugs is can make complete sense as, one of the things you want is for a tug to be heavy.

It is hooked to a Piper M600.

The Best Tug that would move that taildragger around is the size of a vacuum cleaner.

I've been using battery powered tugs and dollies for more than 20 years. Range has never been an issue. Same goes for the machines we use to clean the hangar floor.
