This is the second time this has happened in 2 weeks. I park the truck in my garage and when I go to drive it a few hours later I get the "Stop safely now" message and it will only enter "accessory mode". No alerts on my phone or explanation in the truck. Any help would be appreciated..

Heck the LVB. It should be above 12.5volts. If it is draining itself you won’t be able to start without charging it.

Otherwise it could be the HVB has a cell out of balance with the rest. You really don’t want that to be the case.

I connected a trickle charger. Should I try and jump it?

Yes, a jump might help if it's actually a depleted LVB [12v].

But if it doesn't remain drivable after disconnecting the jump battery, then you might need to replace it, but if there are persistent warnings, the HVB might be the root issue.

As @TaxmanHog said, you can jumpstart it with a jumper box or you can let it charge over time. Depends on what you need or prefer.

Low voltage battery is a t 25% according to the website. I also get a "charge fault" and red ring when I try and plug it in to my level 2 charger. The truck is at 71%. Could the charge fault be caused by the LVB being at 25%?

Possibly, if the contactors are not engaging the AC/DC inverter to pass forward the energy.

I'd focus on making the LVB fully charged, a trickle charger may not be potent enough to do this timely. If you could get the truck into a RUN state, then let the onboard DC/DC inverter do the work of recharging the LVB, but then the catch-22 if it won't start.

NOTE: we've had reports of RED RING of failure, sometimes attributed to the AC/DC inverter or the connection port.

Just went through this myself. Jumping wouldn't work. Had it towed to dealer, 12v battery had to be replaced. I can't understand why if the 12v battery was bad or low, that jumping wouldn't work, but it just wouldn't.

Check that the LVB cables are torqued. That's probably not the issue but worth the time to check.

Are LVB terminals getting good contact on battery posts? Many times, loose fitting terminals can cause similar symptoms.

Hopefully the issue is simple and resolved quickly.
