List: F-150 Lightning dealers that do / don't apply ADM (price markup)

Yup would love to see reservations really matter...In my mind I made a commitment that I felt should mean something...I felt my first letdown when they let these these turds "prioritize"

That is the “dealer fee” which they classify as something different than ADM. ADM would be above and beyond dealer fee. Needless to say I’m switching my dealer.

Same here. I found out that my dealer doesn't do ADM, just their standard absurd ($700) doc fee. No add-ons, no additional deposit when ordering, which is nice. I'm okay with that, not worth switching around. They can't tell me anything else about my place in line and I've called other dealerships and they won't say anything either. I don't have the time to play games and try to optimize my place in line by playing dealership musical chairs. Also don't think I could even successfully guarantee any improvement by switching since all these dealers either lie or just plain don't know what is going on. I'm just gonna see what I'm able to order when the time comes. If I can order a Pro I'll do it and see how it goes. If not, smell ya later Ford.

Not sure, but now you have me thinking since my wife is 5'9" and this will be our "dog vehicle" so she'll need it for short trips. I see that the seats are advertised as "2-way manual" which according to this, just means fwd/back and recline.

Funny, but I was just there a few days ago asking about the same thing. I think they had two F150's on the lot. It would be nice, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Salesman seem clear to me. I think they were adding $5K on what they had on the lot (2021's). And he was guessing it would be about the same, or more for the Lightening. Let us (m) know. That would be nice.

They confirmed they will be charging ADM but it looks like he might be willing to make a deal at $2500 which I think i'm willing to accept to get a wave 1 or 2 delivery. However, he gave an odd detail that while i'm 14th on their list, I am 5th on the reservation submission date/time stamp list.

I'm guessing they submitted 9 people as priority customers prior to the 12/17 deadline and i'm stacked up behind them. That being said, he says they'll call early this week to lock down the details and collect a $1k refundable deposit to get my order submitted.

They confirmed they will be charging ADM but it looks like he might be willing to make a deal at $2500 which I think i'm willing to accept to get a wave 1 or 2 delivery. However, he gave an odd detail that while i'm 14th on their list, I am 5th on the reservation submission date/time stamp list.

I'm guessing they submitted 9 people as priority customers prior to the 12/17 deadline and i'm stacked up behind them. That being said, he says they'll call early this week to lock down the details and collect a $1k refundable deposit to get my order submitted.

*Shrug* Maybe my last couple cars being Teslas i've just grown accustomed to looking at the price, deciding if its what i'm willing to pay and then choosing yes or no.

$4k ADM was a no for me, 2.5k shifted into maybe territory. Until i've signed a purchase agreement its all part of the pageantry.

To each their own and I don't begrudge those who love the haggling or would never pay over MSRP.

So maybe as we get close to game time our "dealer list" isn't a slam dunk. Is anyone else getting a bit burned out on this circus? I'm sure I'm spending more time following than I should and should just wait for an invite. I just got pretty pumped up last May 19th and I'm losing that warm feeling by the day. Seems a lot of these clowns are born with some DNA that a lot of us can't relate to. They couldn't even spell "ethical" without help. I am! I am quickly getting tired of the circus that's evolving. I've come to realize, I don't drive many miles. I have another car. I can skip it, or move to a gas powered truck till pricing on batteries comes down. And it will come down, on batteries at least.

That doesn't seem entirely bad, especially if you really want right now. I'm still not totally clear how this reservation lineup works, but I'm so far down the way, I'm not too concerned right now. Please let us know how that works out. I know when I spoke to the salesman, I touched on it and let him know there were dealerships selling at MSRP. He knew, of course. I'm sure it wasn't his decision to make. Let us know! Thanks.

At least in NJ a doc fee in the $300 range is fairly standard so this has some premium but nothing like the multi thousand markups some dealers are putting on this truck. So agree, be annoyed but not worth switching

From the GSM at Columbia Ford in Columbia, CT. Looks like I'm moving my reservation (again). Ford is worried about scalpers, little did they know it's their own dealerships.

On a Lightning it will be 30% over MSRP plus $598.25 conveyance fee, $197 vin verification and sales tax and registration.
