LVB “normal” state of charge?

Recently I’ve noticed my 12 volt state of charge getting into the 60 to 70 percent range overnight. It does get into the 90s after driving or charging, and I had the BSM recall done months ago. Everything is operating fine, but I was a little surprised that it would dip this low. Interested to hear other folks experience for reassurance. Thanks

That is a greater difference than I have experienced. Is there a chance you have something plugged in that will draw juice?

That is a greater difference than I have experienced. Is there a chance you have something plugged in that will draw juice?
i have nothing plugged in, no OBD dongle, etc.

This may be a stupid question but how are you monitoring the 12 volt soc? Is this an aftermarket thing?

This may be a stupid question but how are you monitoring the 12 volt soc? Is this an aftermarket thing?
I just use my account dashboard on ford.com to monitor the LVB soc.

Mine seems to stay around the 70% range according to the account dashboard.
Once I saw it at 83%.

I have been getting notices about a software update scheduled to install for a couple weeks that never installs - error sometimes says it was "interrupted" - customer service says it means the 12v battery is not charged up enough and to drive for 30 minutes to an hour and try again.

Been there, done that, to no avail.

Had the Customer (dis)Satisfaction Program battery monitor sensor replaced, but still not getting the update.

The customer service person said I could take it to the dealership and they might be able to push the update.

In other threads it has been established that:
1) the 12v is an AGM
2) AGM's should never be allowed to go below 50% charge for battery longevity
3) the Ford charges the 12v battery when the truck is OFF when it dips to 40% via DC-DC from the HVB
4) the Ford charges the battery when the truck is on as well.
5) updates won't install unless the LVB has enough Amp Hours, so the SOC has to be over 80% (or so)
6) @Ford Motor Company needs to do something about these issues, like:
a) never let the AGM battery go below 50%, maybe higher, for battery longevity
b) change the software update routine so that the HVB charges the LVB to an adequate SOC when a software update is needed if needed
7) owners have been having issues with the AGM LVB not lasting very long and being replaced via 3 yr warranty, not having enough SOC to install updates, etc.
8) the HVB warranty mentions that power up update installation within a reasonable time (30 days) of release is a necessary part of required HV battery care.

For what it is worth, high-tech catch-22?

Right now, the LV on-line says: 72%
