It doesn’t appear to, but this dealer is pretty scummy. They were trying to sell a used base model Maverick hybrid for $41K last year. No mention of the state incentive on this page, but the federal is a line item after the $15K off dealer discount. I would also qualify for their Tesla conquest cash $1500.

I locked in a lease on a new 2024 Lightning Flash today from Balise Ford in Hyannis. The numbers are great once the Mor-EV $7500 is factored in, I’m putting that money down against the lease. I asked the dealer to secure the additional documents I‘ll need for the Mor-EV rebate to be handed off at delivery.

I submitted all the documents for my rebate on Friday 1/10/2025. I finally received confirmation of my submission today 1/22/2025. I was getting a little nervous they hadn't received it. The confirmation states “Your documents will be sent for review and final approval by the Department of Energy Resources (DOER)”.

I received that letter 11/26 and they mailed the check 1/16. I received it on 1/21. Just to give you a recent timeline.

I received my check yesterday . I was a little surprised to see it came from an outfit in San Diego.

One final question @TaxmanHog, When did these most recent 2023 program updates get published? has the 6000-10000 class 2b been available all 2023? I swear i looked earlier in year and it was the 8501-10000 weight class that was applicable only?

There was a revision to the program that changed the GVWR minimum. Many did not qualify with the 8500 requirement.

There is one issue that I have raised to them that more people need to send to the MOR-EV team. They are using a max price that includes destination charges where the Federal program (if the still exists with the Trump changes) does not include destination charges in the max. Fed and state should be aligned in their max prices and what is included in that number. The MOR-EV program managers response last year was that they had revised the program in the not too distant past and it is too difficult to make changes.
