@TaxmanHog i inquired about removing the scales and this was his response:

“You would not be able to get a 511A at all. You would most likely need to remove the onboard to get it built anytime soon, I just checked it wont even let me move forward at all until I remove that.”

my question now is if the reason for my order not being processed was because of this the whole time.

what would I be losing with the 511a package.

Just checked mine and I have been converted to a MY23, still no build date assigned though...

If MSRP is more than 80k, how about $7500?

They can start the build configuration 511A (ER Battery and all the related features) but can not send it to factory until the Deletion code to remove the scales has been input, then the configuration is build-able

They could start with a 510A SR, add what ever options you want on top of that like Tow Tech, with exception of scales which shows the reminder that the WBDO build will require the code to delete the scales

Did your color automatically adjust to Avalanche, or have you selected another color?

I was told a month or so ago that SQM was NLA so I chose AMB. From what I can tell that’s what it still says on my order..but please let me know if your information says otherwise.

If the original estimate was 15,000 MY22 trucks and we are seeing some slip into MY23, I wonder what they actually ended up able to produce? It seems like a good majority of the MY22 orders were produced, so maybe about 12,000 get produced in the 6ish month MY22 run?

My dealer is saying He can’t do anything but select the 510 package which would make me lose the standard battery. He doesn’t see how he can delete just the scales.

Mine is the extended range 511 A. Scales are part of the tow tech package which is standard on the extended range. so they have to be removed
