MyView on XLT 8” instrument cluster won’t hold selections?

Anyone else having issues with the MyView not holding selections?

This is on the instrument cluster between the speed and tach On a XLT 302a. MyView allows selection of different screens to toggle through. I pick trip 1, trip 2, tire pressure, MPG, and radio station. a few days later it only has MPG and Trip 1 so I select them all again and a few days later it goes back to MPG and trip 1.

also, the two middle gauges on the top are changeable. I select transmission temp and turboboost. A few days later its oil pressure and transmission temp. Maybe a few days later it is something else.

at a minimum is annoying but it also makes me wonder if something else is going on....

It is possible the MyView is customizable for both Trip 1 and Trip 2? What I mean is one particular set/layout of gauges for Trip 1, and another set/layout for Trip 2. If the truck is on the screen from Trip 1 the gauges might be different for Trip 2. (Hope that made sense)

Just a thought, a few Ford's I've used have done that.

I haven’t had these issues with my display at all, this after about 1.5 months of ownership. Sorry you are having some problems. I hope you can get it resolved!

Thanks. i may have a few electronic gremlins going on with this truck. This plus the iPhone ringer issue I posted about.

there may be more, but since I don’t go to the office anymore I’m only in the truck maybe every few days so I don’t notice things.

not really enough to hassle the dealership about at this point. Maybe I’ll just start making a list. That’s what my dad did when he bought new GM vehicles. Every few months bring it in and they’d fix what was on the list. I would have been buying something other than GM but he worked for them so I guess he was a paid beta tester of sorts.

Just a thought, a few Ford's I've used have done that.

I have a 21 KR and if I select My view, it always goes back to My View Selection and I have to OK on the wheel (if this makes sense). If I select say Truck Info and then driver Assit it will stay there when restarted. Try using something besides My View. Also my gauge selection does not rest unless I plug in a trailer. Then it removes the boost gauge and puts the transmission temp back up. It does not change it back when the trailer is disconnected.
