I also received BC 1.4 today, previously was running 1.0 version.

Had the CSP for front sensors completed in mid February.

Last update prior to that was 2/28/2025. ECG 24.2.5.7

How do I know if the CSP for the front sensors has been done or if it even needs to be done? I don’t seem to have any issues there. I purchased my 23 Lariat used back in December. Is this a requirement for BC 1.4?

Check the FordPass app or your account online and it should tell you any CSP’s/recalls pending. It would be under Service and have an alert with an exclamation point surrounded by a triangle(if I remember correctly).

Thanks. Doesn’t appear to be anything. I’m just unlucky this time around...

I just don't understand how any of these trucks can get the 1.4 update without having modules manually updated.

The IPMA update took me 1.5 hours with the Mongoose and the modules were drawing close to 70 amps on the clore power supply.

I guess the real question is has anybody gotten the 1.4 update successfully without having the FDRS CSP for the parking sensors?

If you did successfully get the update from 1.0 to 1.4 without the parking sensor update please report.

Lastly don't forget you now need to be wearing your seat belt to activate blue cruise.

Please tell me enabling the predicative speed assist (curves) doesn't require speed sign recognition???!!
Here is what is on the settings screen now
I honestly do not remember what it looked like before!
That's what you would assume based on the description but, unless they've changed the behavior in the official OTA compared to what those of us have who enabled 1.4 manually, it still works with the slider off and is bipolar at best. I ended up disabling the curve control in FORScan because I didn't like it slowing down, speeding up, slowing down and disabling altogether in the middle of a turn when using standard hands-on lane keeping. And these were curves where it should very easily be able to maintain the set speed.
Speed Sign Recognition (the one many of us turned off) has been renamed Predictive Speed Assist and moved under the ACC sub-menu. As PJ notes the new curve control that comes with 1.4 has caused some issues.

You may not see this slider yet FYI - as the note says.
