New chargers at Buc-ees

On my way from Western Noth Carolina to Southern Illinois in my 23 Lariat ER. Needed to charge so stopped at Buc-ees to use their tesla station. I discovered a Mercedes branded Charge point Super Fast chargers so I decided to try them out. VERY impressive. The picture can be hard to see but it shows 400 KW shared posts. Charging at 170, as fast as I have ever seen. Seems like with a push from Mercedes that Charge Point got it right.

Love charging at Buc-ee's! Mercedes-Benz Charging Network is part of BlueOval Charge Network as well, so charging there is super easy with FordPass.

Simple pleasures in life....charging at close to 169 kWh!

Since getting my Ford (newest one) adaptor I have used some Tesla DCFCs, and it is great when I am charging at 160 kWH. If/when Ford comes out with their next Gen Lightning, I hope, hope they can charge at over 200.

It makes all the difference when you can charge faster.

REALLY nice. Hopefully the software on the Mercedes cabinets is good and stable like Tesla's. next thing would be to replace all the Electrify America cabinets with these!

BTW it is great marketing for Mercedes.

Mercedes has also been deploying Alpitronic HYC400s. Those are even nicer.

They have the same charger in Florence, SC off I95. I have used for a while. (Notice my pic). Very good charging and layout at Bucees.
