Got the Emporia charging station operational at my office. 60A breaker so it’s charging at the full 48A level. Lots of fan type noise coming from truck but assume that’s normal (I’ve only charged at home on the Ford mobile charger to date so nothing to compare to). Emporia shows charging at 11.1kw.

Cluster and Ford app show all good, but charge rate shows

Still waiting on QMerit for home charger installation.

Also installed the MegaOhm bypass unit to disable the backup beep. Best $50 ever.

Toyo Open Country ATIII EVs went on today. 275/65/20 (non E rated). Then took it in for alignment since I did the RC puck lift a few weeks ago. Was barely out of spec.

Real happy with how they look and drive. Will report back when I have a handle on range impact. Love the way she sits and looks.

That's all the changes I plan on making to the truck. Just driving from here on out.

Code has been cleared, driving normally. I’m going to take it into the dealership in the morning and let him take a look.

On another note, speedometer is off about 3 miles/hour once truck gets above 70. Ordered a Bluetooth ODB cable and will do the forscan fix when it arrives.

Truck continues to throw the drivetrain error often. And yesterday got a new one, shifter malfunction.

Made an appointment at the local dealer and I’m dropping it off there shortly for the balance of the week. Timing is good since I am out of town for business until Saturday.

They are going to research all of the powertrain codes, replace the shifter, and I also have them looking at my squeaky steering wheel and my rattling brake assembly.

that’s a lot of bad things for a six week old truck. Fingers crossed i guess.

Agree on the issues for a 6 week old truck. Mine had a rear parking sensor fault, comes and goes, still. Next is the blind spot monitoring system threw a code over the weekend. Today, the turn signal indicators both hyper-flash. No burned out bulbs. So none of these are super crucial, but you would think these would have been ironed out as they are on almost all F-150s, ICE or EV.

I don’t know. They gave me a loaner F150 STX with 6 miles on it. Brand new. Everything inside rattles. While truck shakes with rough idle. Lurches into gear.

6 miles.

Fans running while charging is normal, especially when it's warm. Had wife wake me at 1 am once. Truck was charging in garage, A/C was on full blast which made it sound like an ICE was running. She thought I forgot to turn off the truck. Nope, it was summer and the truck was cooling the battery.

Qmerit took about a week before I had a local contractor pick up my job. It's possible the contractors in your area to crazy busy. My brother is using them as well, had someone call him the next day. Now he's just waiting for Emporia to get the black version back in stock.

Wasn’t expecting to be discussing tax strategy when i signed up for this forum.

I have two accountants that worry about all this. I’m sure I’ll be fine.
haha. Nobody is analyzing where your business electricity expenses are going to. 100kW to the coffee machine, 13kW to the TV, 150,000kW to the F150. Are you kidding me with these comments? It is absolutely a lost in the shuffle situation.

Yeah that was my thought. It’s certainly not something i have spent a single second worrying about. Or ever will.

I’d expect some jealous employee to point it out to the CFO at some point as a benefit someone else is getting that they aren’t. When I was running that side of things at a construction company if the bill spiked I would investigate what changed. Where I live a Lightining ER from 20-80% costs $28.53.

Gear selector lever
Gear selector module
Steering clock spring
All replaced

Nothing noted on brake assembly but they tightened something up, as rattle is gone.

Nothing found to fix or replace with reduced powertrain function errors. Service manager indicated gear selector module was culprit for all. We shall see.

What was the brake noise? Was it coming from the pedal area? I have a noise there too but was told it’s normal.

what kind of leather did you go with?
