I think the problems root in the way the apps sync with the FP cloud.

When I've problems with charging scheme, I'll clear out the phone app settings [Force stop the app, clear the cache] and do all my new inputs only at the SYNC console, then restart the app, it should fetch the trucks settings which it should have reported to the FP cloud.

Generally that has solved my charging scheme anomalies during early ownership Aug/Sept.
I only put my schedule in via the truck - I have never trusted the app for it.

I didn't get to check it on Friday (had the day off of work), but it worked again this morning.

Edit: I should note that I have been going into Fordpass every morning (about 15 mins before the planned departure time) to check on the truck and once the system refreshes, that seems to kick off the cabin heating. Maybe the truck just needs a good wakeup.

Worked again this afternoon not plugged in. I had just driven it about an hour before so I am wondering if the issue is it not waking properly once in a deep sleep.

If she resumes failing to precondition in the future, on the next day try sending a door lock command about 30 minutes prior to preconditioning being scheduled to start, maybe that wake up call might help?

I have been doing a pull down refresh in Fordpass and that seems to be doing the job.

Tried the app refresh this morning and it worked. Went into the garage 15 minutes before my departure time and the truck was silent. Pulled down in the app to refresh and the truck instantly ”woke up” with clicks, pumps, and charging sounds.

It's.a problem for sure. My truck is very finicky about the departure time thing and half the time the app won't refresh or give you the notifications that it's supposed to. @Ford Motor Company really needs to create a stand alone app for the BEVs or just prioritize their software division.

I had to work late yesterday so I don't know if it worked in the afternoon. It did work this morning with the refresh. Plugged into my wife's Grizzl-e EVSE since my FSCP died.

Missed yesterday afternoon again. This morning it did, kind of, work, but it took multiple refreshes of Fordpass to get it to kick off. I also think it only did the Cabin, or else started heating the battery after I did my refresh. The battery temp gauge was the lowest I have ever seen it.

Sorry I haven't updated for awhile. Turned off scheduled departure times over the holidays and then I was travelling last week.

This morning it worked fine (not plugged in), even without refreshing the app. No message in Fordpass about it reaching desired temp though.

So - it decided to work properly yesterday afternoon (unplugged - at work) and then again this morning (plugged in). No refresh and it even gave me a Fordpass notification this morning!

I give up on trying to find any pattern.

Ok - starting to hit my wits end on this. My truck as just stopped preconditioning. No alerts in Fordpass, and nothing happens at the scheduled time. It doesn't matter if I am plugged in to L2, or unplugged. I have tried deleting and resetting the schedule in the truck. Toggling it on and off. I tried doing the same in the Fordpass app. Nothing seems to make it work.

I did a Sync reset this morning (vol - and skip) but have low hopes that will work. The schedule still showed up afterwards and looked the same.

Any other thoughts on things to try? Thankfully it hasn't gotten that cold yet, but I have some longer trips planned in January, and I would much prefer a preconditioned battery (and a warm truck when I leave work).
Same here, same exact problem. Ive called ford and no one seems to know what to do ? So frustrating.
