Found quite a few chanterelles in the woods near my place yesterday, both common gold and some rarer whites, and even a few 🦞 lobster mushrooms as well. Figured they'd do better in the cool dark frunk... and they did! The blue material is super absorbent and helps too. Last night was lamb and some of the mushrooms, and tonight looks like a lobster and chanterelle pizza night!
Anybody else a fungiphile Lightning owner?
Cheers,
Zap
EDIT: Knife is 5.375" closed, for scale

Enjoy. I don't eat fungus.
It's quite good for you, but I understand food quirks; I don't partake of most vegetables, wheat or animal milk. :)
Cheers

I take Lions Mane as a multivitamin… lol

That’s the limit of my intake.

That is an impressive collection of mushrooms, I love being out in the woods, I did 22 years in the military in the "extreme rucking club", traveling all over the world, but my favorite place is the Appalachian trail in Virginia. https://appalachiantrail.org/official-blog/warriors-in-the-woods-veterans-appalachian-trail/

I am also a huge knife/weapon collector and have that same CRKT knife, I think I have 7 CRKT's scattered around the house, boat, trucks.

I did spend this past Veterans Day weekend in the mountains and there were tons of mushrooms all along the Appalachian trail, so I bought a couple books to figure out what I can forage for food/medicinal support.
